About Us:

The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge is committed to enhancing the quality of life for citizens in our community by funding diverse cultural offerings of excellence. Each year, the organization distributes award approximately $250,000 in grant funds to support visual art exhibitions, theatre productions, dance, music, festivals, literary works, media, folk life, design arts, and more throughout East Baton Rouge Parish and the surrounding 10-parish region.

Timeline:

The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge offers several grant opportunities to support the arts programming of nonprofit organizations in our region. All deadlines are at 5:00 PM CST.

Local Project Assistance Grant - February 1, September 1
Multicultural Organization Grant - February 1
Decentralized Arts Funding Grant - June 15, 2017
Charles Lamar Family Foundation Shaw Center Subsidy Grant - Rolling. Please submit at least 2 months prior to event

Getting Started:

Step 1) To create a user account, select the signup button at the top of the page.

Step 3) Select the grant program for which you would like to submit an application and begin.
